Engaano Millers Limited
In 2004, Sarrai Group acquired Engaano Millers. Today, Engaano Millers produces Uganda’s top-quality Drum Wheat flour brand, with an output of 30,000 metric tons and holding a 22% market share. Since taking over operations in 2004, the company has steadily grown from being the ninth largest in the market to becoming the third largest wheat producer in Uganda. It is also the home of the well-known regional animal feed brand, Nuvita, as well as one of Uganda’s heritage brands, Tiptop Bread, which won the “People’s Choice Quality Awards 2011” presented by the Kampala City Association (KASITA). The company operates bakeries in Jinja, Kampala, and Mbarara, and employs over 800 people.

Ustawi Grain Millers Limited manufactures Kenya’s top-quality and nutritious “UMOJA” all-purpose baking flour, with a daily production capacity of 500 metric tons. The company was founded with advanced German milling technology and innovations at its manufacturing facility in Mombasa, guaranteeing consistent and reliable production and packaging of premium flour.
